Dr. Lach’s journey in dentistry began at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. It is one of the most prestigious programs in the country. Graduating at the top of his class, he quickly earned a reputation for academic and clinical excellence.
Pursuing further expertise, he earned a Master’s Degree in Oral Biology from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, where he conducted ground-breaking research on how computers can simulate and predict orthodontic changes.

Always striving to stay at the forefront of his field, Dr. David Lach dedicates 50–100 hours each year to advanced continuing education. His commitment to innovation has allowed him to bring cutting-edge technology to Central Florida, including 3D scanning, printing, and robotics in orthodontic care.

A Personal Look at Dr. David Lach
Dr. Lach grew up in a small town near Akron, Ohio, where his close-knit family (including his parents, siblings, and extended relatives) still live today. That sense of family connection remains at the heart of his Orlando practice.
He and his wife, Hope, are proud parents to three wonderful children: Grant, Bryce, and Emmie. Their household is also filled with furry friends—Sanford, the golden retriever; Fee Fee, the Jack Russell terrier; and two playful cats named Lolly and Pop. Family life is a central part of who Dr. Lach is, and he often shares stories with patients, reminding them that behind the doctor’s coat is someone who deeply values relationships, laughter, and quality time with loved ones.

Outside of orthodontics, Dr. Lach is a passionate outdoorsman. A former Division I and semi-professional soccer player, he continues to enjoy an active lifestyle. Whether it’s water skiing, boating, golfing, or spending a sunny afternoon at the beach with his family, Dr. David Lach makes the most of Florida’s great outdoors.
Sports and recreation have always been an important part of his life, helping him develop discipline, teamwork, and resilience—qualities he now applies in his orthodontic career.
