Dr. David Lach is the leading orthodontist at Lach Orthodontic Specialists, and he is considered one of the top Invisalign® specialists in the United States. In fact, he is a top 1% provider for Invisalign®, and he is the number one Invisalign® provider in Orlando. He has over 25 years of experience serving patients in Orlando and the surrounding area.

Dr. Lach was the first orthodontist to bring high-tech robotics and 3D scanning and printing to Central Florida. He has been an assistant professor of orthodontics at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. He was also one of the first orthodontists in Central Florida to work with Invisalign® and is now one of the few Elite preferred Invisalign® specialists.

What is Invisalign®?

Invisalign® is a set of clear plastic aligners that straighten teeth by gently moving them into place. They are custom-made to fit snugly over the patient’s teeth. Unlike other types of braces, Invisalign® trays are removable, so the patient can take them out in order to eat or clean their teeth. They can also take them out for special occasions. The patient will wear a single set of aligners for two weeks and then replace them with another set.

What Types of Braces Does Lach Orthodontic Specialists Offer?

In addition to Invisalign®, Lach Orthodontic Specialists provides the following types of braces:

• Traditional braces
• Ceramic or invisible braces
• Ligatureless braces (upon request)

Ligatureless braces resemble traditional braces, but their brackets have metal clips that can open and close. The clips allow the teeth to move more freely, so the braces cause less discomfort. The patient also doesn’t have to wear ligatures or rubber bands with their braces.
